Our Childrens Ministry is in a very exciting place of growth.  We have a group of vibrant young children ranging from 7 – 13 years of age “THE WARRIORS” who are passionate about the Kingdom and the Life of God in their lives.

During this term (Jan 2012), we will be working through a curriculum called “Kids Carrying The Kingdom”.  We are trusting that God is going to reach deap into their hearts.

We also have a group of pre-schoolers from 3 years and up, “THE TRIBELITS“. Our Moms and Dads are very involved in ministering to this group.

Children do not have to be a certain age to be able to hear from God, or have an intimate relationship with Him.

A boy told me recently that as He was lying in his bed, he heard it creaking as if someone was climbing into bed next to him. His thought was, ‘It’s the Lord, who’s come to lie by me.’ And why wouldn’t He want to do just that? Don’t we parents love to spend a moment just connecting with our kids before bedtime? Don’t we love to just hug them and tell them how special they are, and affirm them as they go off to sleep? Why wouldn’t the King of Kings come for a snuggle with His boy!! What a loving Dad we have, Never too busy, never too tired, never too distracted for us.

If we could teach anything to our kids I would love for them to know God’s Father heart.

Jesus told his disciples to let the little children come to him. ‘Don’t hinder them,’ He said. We don’t want to do that! We want to bring them with us into His presence, and for them to experience His voice and His touch. They need to know Him as much as adults do!
